Peter Obi now in bed with those who created APC monster destroying Nigeria: Baba-Ahmed

A former Labour Party vice presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Datti Baba-Ahmed, has berated the African Democratic Congress coaltion as “evil,” adding that his fomer ally, Peter Obi, is now in bed with those who created the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Mr Baba-Ahmed, who was Mr Obi’s deputy during the poll, in an interview with Daily Trust, berated his former ally for defecting from the LParty to the ADC and forming a political coalition with those he said “created the APC dragon destroying Nigeria.”
“Almost everyone in the ADC today, except Peter Obi, are people who helped establish the APC that is misruling Nigeria,” Mr Baba-Ahmed said. “Most importantly, these are the people who created the APC dragon that is destroying Nigeria today. Nothing has fundamentally changed about them. One of them is in prison.”
Asked if Nigerians are faced with choosing between two evils in the 2027 election, Mr Baba-Ahmed said though there are individuals he respects in the coaltion, “The ADC is a lesser evil than the APC.”
“There are individuals I respect greatly, Atiku Abubakar, for instance. Amaechi is a fighter, a lion, an achiever. With the right environment and allies, he can do well. But aside from Obi, the ADC is made up of the same APC actors of 2015,” Mr Baba-Ahmed added.
Mr Baba-Ahmed’s criticisms followed Mr Obi’s defection from the LP to ADC on December 31.
Before Mr Obi’s defection, Mr Baba-Ahmed had said politicians joining the ADC coaltion were after their selfish interests.
