Police arrest 61 suspected thugs in Kano after Sallah

Operatives of the Kano State Police Command have arrested 61 suspected thugs on the second day of the Sallah celebration.
This brings the total number of arrests made across the five emirates council in the state during the holidays to 115.
This was disclosed in a statement shared on the command’s official X handle on Saturday, along with pictures of the nabbed suspects and some exhibits.
It read, “Sallah Day-2 (Hawan Daushe): The Kano State Police Command in continuation with its effort to clamp down on all forms of thuggery activities and ensure hitch-free Sallah festivities arrested additional 61 suspected thugs bringing a total to 115 suspects from across the five emirates council in the state.’’
