Police arrest two over high-tech cannabis farm in Lagos

The police command in Lagos State has arrested two suspects after uncovering a suspected high-tech indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in the Apapa area.

In a statement on Tuesday, the command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, said the command’s operatives discovered it on Monday at about 8:15 p.m., following credible intelligence.
“Acting on the information, the operatives conducted a search of the premises, where a sophisticated indoor farming facility equipped for the cultivation, harvesting and processing of substances suspected to be cannabis was uncovered,” she said.
The suspects are Thomas Razvickas, 49, a Polish national, and James Chisome, 36.
“The suspects are currently in police custody, where they have made confessional statements and are providing useful information to aid ongoing investigations,” Ms Adebisi said.
