Police nab man for sodomising 13-year-old

A chief magistrates’ court in Kano has ordered that 30-year-old Abdullahi Idris be remanded in prison custody for sodomising a 13-year-old boy,
The accused will remain there pending legal advice.
Mr Idris is charged with abduction and unnatural offence.
Chief Magistrate Mustapha Sa’ad-Datti directed the police to return the case file to Kano director of public prosecutions office for legal advice.
Mr Sa’ad-Datti adjourned the matter until August 2 for further mention.
Prosecution counsel, Asma’u Ado, told the court that Mr Idris committed the offence on February 11 at Sheka Baranda Quarters Kano.
Ms Ado alleged that Mr Idris lured the 13-year-old into his living room in Sheka Baranda Quarters Kano at about 10:00 p.m. and sodomised him.
Mr Idris denied the charge.
