Police nab woman for killing three of her children

The death of all three of the 33-year-old’s children had now drawn the attention of the authorities.

• March 31, 2022

An arrest warrant has been issued in Greece for a 33-year-old woman who allegedly killed her nine-year-old daughter.

The police announced that the suspected perpetrator allegedly poisoned her daughter on January 29 and was arrested.

The case apparently had larger dimensions.

Two of the woman’s other children from the port city of Patras died earlier in 2019 and 2021. They were two girls aged six months and three years.

The death of all three of the 33-year-old’s children had now drawn the attention of the authorities.

A forensic medical examination revealed that the nine-year-old had been administered the anaesthetic ketamine, mainly used in veterinary medicine.

The bodies of the other two children who died were now to be examined.
