Police recover stolen Toyota Hilux, arrest suspect in Kano

The police command in Kano has recovered a suspected stolen Toyota Hilux and arrested a 35-year-old female suspect in connection with the crime.
This was disclosed in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa, on Thursday.
Mr Kiyawa said the vehicle, with registration number GWA 998 AR, was stolen from Ikeja Road, Fagge LGA, on September 29.
He explained that the suspect was apprehended along the Airport Road, in the Nassarawa LGA, while attempting to conceal the vehicle en route to the Niger Republic.
He said that the police were intensifying efforts to track down the male suspect who allegedly supplied the vehicle to the arrested suspect.
The command commended the officers involved in the operation, expressed appreciation for the public’s support, and urged residents to continue reporting suspicious activities to the police.
