Police to man JAMB’s CBT centres across Osun

The police will man all Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s computer-based test centres across Osun to ensure adequate security for candidates.
The police command spokesman in Osun, Abiodun Ojelabi, disclosed this on Thursday.
“We have deployed our men since last week for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
“The directive came from Abuja to provide security for the examination, and we have complied fully. At any centre you visit, you will see our officers on the ground. Deployment has been carried out across all centres.
“All our divisions have centres under their jurisdiction, and they have ensured adequate security coverage for the examination,” Mr Ojelabi added.
The 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, organised by JAMB, is scheduled to be held from April 16 to 25.
The board also stated that about 2.2 million candidates are expected to sit for the examination in 966 CBT centres nationwide.
