Power minister-designate Tegbe to empower 60 entrepreneurs in Oyo

Ministerial nominee, Joseph Tegbe, has announced plans to support small-scale initiatives and social entrepreneurs across Oyo state with business grants.
Mr Tegbe, in a Facebook post on Thursday said the initiative was envisioned to “empower hardworking individuals who are building, creating and contributing meaningfully to their communities.”
“As I mark my 60th birthday, I am reminded that true impact lies in creating opportunities for others to grow and thrive,” Mr Tegbe said.
The power minister-designate said the initiative, which is to be overseen by the Tegbe Foundation, would offer grant assistance, ranging from N100,000 to N500,000, to selected beneficiaries.
He noted that targeted recipients of the scheme include artisans, traders, small business owners and social entrepreneurs.
According to him, nominations to qualify for the grant assistance would be closed on Sunday, May 3, urging members of the public to maximise the opportunity.
