Premier League: Haaland bags another hat trick as Man City hammer West Ham

Erling Haaland continued his remarkable goal-scoring form as Manchester City defeated West Ham United 3-1 in the Premier League.
The Norwegian striker secured his second consecutive hat trick, extending City’s unbeaten record against the Hammers to 18 matches.
Despite a promising start from West Ham, City quickly took control of the game.
Haaland opened the scoring in the 10th minute, converting a pass from Bernardo Silva. West Ham responded with a deflected own goal from Ruben Dias, but Haaland scored again with a rocket shot before halftime to give City a 2-1 lead.
In the second half, both teams had chances to score, but it was Haaland who sealed the victory with his third goal of the match, having been passed through on goal by substitute Matheus Nunes.
The Norwegian striker’s performance helped City extend their unbeaten away run in competitive matches to 19 games.
West Ham, on the other hand, have now lost both of their home Premier League matches this season.
