Qatar 2022: Davido to perform at World Cup grand finale

Nigerian superstar Davido is set to perform at the closing ceremony of the Qatar 2022 World Cup on Sunday.
On Sunday, the ‘Stand Strong’ crooner shared pictures of him getting set for the performance on his official Twitter handle. The musician has kept away from his trade since he lost his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke in October, cancelling all the engagement he had lined up towards the end of the year.

The bereaved artist recently made his first public appearance since the tragedy when he attended the swearing-in ceremony of his uncle Ademola Adeleke as the sixth executive governor of Osun state in November, alongside his partner, Chioma Rowland.
Earlier this year, Davido collaborated with Hayya Hayya (Better Together), one of the official singles for the Qatar 2022 World with other top musical artists.

The popular song which was released by Def Jam Recordings and produced by RedOne, has American pop star Trinidad Cordona singing with Davido and Qatari-based Aisha.
