Ramadan: Gov. Bagudu tells Kebbi workers to spend less hours working
Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi has reduced the working hours for the state workers by one hour due to Ramadan fast.
This is contained in a statement by the acting head of service, Safiyanu Garba-Bena, on Wednesday in Birnin Kebbi.
“This gesture by Governor Atiku Bagudu is in line with the established tradition of the state and consideration that the reduced working hour could cushion the effect of fasting on civil servants in this holy month of Ramadan,” he said.
He said following the development, civil servants in Kebbi should start work from 8:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m. from Mondays to Thursdays, while the working hours for Fridays are from 8:00 .a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
