Ronaldo hits 700 club goals ahead of Messi

Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal for Manchester United against Everton on Sunday in the Premier League marked his 700th club goal, a feat that marks him apart on the scale of football excellence.
The 37-year-old, who came in midway through the first half for injured Anthony Martial hit a powerful shot past Everton’s goalie Pickford to net his 144th goal in Red Devil’s shirt.
Ronaldo’s superb career that has spanned over 20 years has seen him scored tons of goals across the club’s in his native Portugal, England, Spain and Italy.
CR7 scored five for Sporting Lisbon. In two spells for United, he has scored 144 goals. In his 9 years at Real Madrid, he scored over 400 goals, while he scored 101 goals for Italian side Juventus.
With Sunday’s goal, the Portuguese is now 10 goal ahead rival Lionel Messi, beating the Argentine to 700 landmark club goal.
