Thank you, Trump, for saving the United States of America

While Democrats were busy writing campaign manifestos and raising money, Trump was doing the hard work of mobilising voters for them.

If you listen to bleeding-heart liberals describing the repercussions of Texas turning blue, you would think Israel had finally dropped a nuclear bomb on Iran. When you hear them frantically explaining how a Black man is leading in a tight race for a U.S. Senate seat in Mississippi, something that has not happened since the Reconstruction era of 1865 to 1877, you would think our macho Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, had ordered all American soldiers to recite the Lord’s Prayer before firing their guns at an enemy.

The truth is that last Tuesday, November 3, 2026, was a day that Americans yet unborn will remember with gratitude to President Donald J. Trump for saving not just America but the world.

Okay, Democratic women won historic victories across America. Keisha Lance Bottoms became the first Black woman elected governor in the history of the United States. And where did this happen? Georgia, of all places!

This is a state where, less than 80 years ago, Black men and women were being lynched by white mobs. The last recorded mass lynching in Georgia occurred at Moore’s Ford Bridge on July 25, 1946, when two African American couples, George and Mae Murray Dorsey and Roger and Dorothy Malcolm, were murdered by a white mob from Walton and Oconee counties.

Before then, hanging African Americans from trees was a regular instrument of racial terror. In May 1918, Hayes Turner was lynched in that manner in Georgia. When his pregnant wife, Mary Turner, protested his murder, she was also brutally lynched.

Yet last Tuesday, the people of Georgia, descendants of those who witnessed that era, elected a Black woman to govern their state.

And who made this possible? Donald J. Trump!

Then there is Texas. For decades, Democrats have been dreaming of turning Texas blue. They tried everything: registering voters and organising rallies. They spent millions of dollars. Nothing worked.

Then Donald Trump came along and performed the miracle.

Not only did Texas turn blue, but Gina Hinojosa, a Hispanic woman, also defeated Governor Greg Abbott to become the first Latina governor in Texas history.

Imagine that! In a state where Republican politicians have spent years warning Americans about immigrants crossing the border from Mexico, a woman of Hispanic heritage is now preparing to move into the governor’s mansion.

And to make matters worse for those who never understood Trump’s genius, Hinojosa defeated Greg Abbott, a man who had spent twelve years perfecting the art of making life difficult for immigrants.

Who would have thought that Trump’s immigration policies, aimed at removing bad hombres, were actually designed to inspire Hispanic Americans to rise to the highest political offices in the land?

Only a political genius could have conceived such a strategy.

Meanwhile, James Talarico won a US Senate seat in Texas, ending another long Republican winning streak. The Democrats had spent decades looking for the road to Texas statewide offices. Trump simply showed it to them.

Do we have to talk about women?

Despite efforts by some Christian nationalists to question women’s place in public life, American women have continued to rise politically. Thanks to Trump’s tireless encouragement, women are preparing to occupy governorships and congressional seats across the country.

Remember that women fought for the 19th Amendment, which granted them the constitutional right to vote in 1920. More than a century later, Trump has apparently decided that his contribution to women’s liberation will be to give them even more reasons to enter politics.

Take Deb Haaland, for example. She will become the first Native American woman elected governor in the United States, taking office in New Mexico.

For centuries, Native Americans were pushed aside in the land their ancestors occupied long before Europeans arrived. Now, a Native American woman is preparing to govern one of America’s 50 states.

All thanks to President Trump.

Do we have to talk about gays?

While some conservative activists have been working to roll back LGBTQIA+ rights, Trump has been quietly preparing the ground for an openly gay man to enter the U.S. Senate.

Chris Pappas of New Hampshire made history when he became the first openly gay man elected to the Senate. When he thanked his husband, the message was clear: America was changing.

And somewhere in the White House, I imagine Trump giving him a thumbs-up.

After all, who has done more than Trump to remind Americans that who you love and how you pray do not matter? You hear him say so every week. And when he posts about it on social media, he never fails to say, ‘thank you for your attention to this matter’.

Then there are Muslims.

Remember how Trump embraced New York City’s Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani, after spending so much time appearing to attack him? Trump understood what many Americans did not. Sometimes, the best way to make a politician popular is to attack him every morning, afternoon and evening.

Trump was especially fond of Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan. He loved mentioning the doctor’s name. He promoted him so much that a man who was hardly a household name became someone millions of Americans could identify.

And what happened?

Abdul El-Sayed became the first Muslim elected to the United States Senate.

Imagine that! A Muslim senator in Donald Trump’s America.

I hope the Senate has already made arrangements for his five daily prayers. If not, Trump should personally intervene and create a space for El-Sayed. After all, he deserves some credit for helping make this historic moment possible.

For those who spent the last two years lying that Trump was against Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, I have one question: who made all this diversity possible?

When the next Congress is sworn in and the new governors take office, look at the faces of America’s new political leadership. Black women, Hispanic women, Native Americans, Muslims and openly gay politicians will occupy offices that were once considered beyond their reach.

And you people still insist that Trump does not believe in DEI?

As Trump might have said, nobody has done more for diversity than Donald Trump. Nobody. Not even close. He loves DEI.

Since Barack Obama became president of the United States in 2009, has anything changed in the fortunes of African Americans? Trump would probably say no. That has been his beef with Obama all these years. Nothing personal.

But now that Trump has helped elevate a Black woman to the governorship of Georgia, watch as American families are elevated as a result of women’s leadership. In his upcoming best-selling book, The Art of the Dud, Trump states, ‘If you elevate a man, you elevate an individual, but if you elevate a woman, you elevate a family.’

These are the many dimensions of Donald Trump’s genius that the American media have consistently failed to understand.

Even when he pretended to insult women in the press, he was only trying to toughen them up for leadership. Unfortunately, some women misunderstood his generosity.

If in doubt, ask E. Jean Carroll, Stormy Daniels, Karen McDougal, Jessica Leeds, Natasha Stoynoff, Jessica Drake and so many others.

Nothing more!

And what about the accusations of corruption and conflicts of interest? What about those envious people complaining about the money his sons and son-in-law are making, or the billions associated with his family’s cryptocurrency ventures?

Again, you people missed the point.

Trump was demonstrating the limitless opportunities available in America. What is money to a man who has been a billionaire for decades?

He wanted ordinary Americans to understand that if they applied themselves, worked hard and happened to have a billionaire father who was also president of the United States, there was no limit to what they could accomplish.

That was it.

But some of you lack a sense of humour about these matters.

On the war with Iran, tariffs and the cost-of-living nonsense, Trump was merely trying to correct the mistakes of weak men like Obama and Biden, who failed to bring lasting peace to the Middle East.

Unfortunately, while running away from those two bad men, he encountered a bad spirit named Benjamin Netanyahu.

And before he knew it, America was involved in another war, prices were rising, and ordinary Americans were wondering how they would pay their bills.

But that was part of the grand plan. Trump knew that Americans sometimes needed to experience hardship before appreciating the value of democracy.

How else could he have persuaded millions of people who had given up on politics to return to the polling booths?

You see, while Democrats were busy writing campaign manifestos and raising money, Trump was doing the hard work of mobilising voters for them.

He raised the cost of living and frightened immigrants, especially the Haitians. He antagonised women, picked fights with universities and threatened political opponents. Scientifically, he made life so interesting that millions of Americans suddenly remembered that they had the power to vote.

And on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, they used that power.

In conclusion, thank you, President Donald J. Trump, for saving America.

I know your Republican Party did not retain control of Congress. I noticed that some of your closest political allies lost elections they were expected to win. Everyone can see Democrats celebrating as though they personally invented democracy’s master strategies.

But if you stand by the Reflecting Pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial and look at it very well, you will realise that you were the real winner in all these shenanigans.

History cannot write about the first Black woman elected governor in America, the first Latina governor of Texas, the first Native American woman governor, the first Muslim senator and the first openly gay male senator without mentioning your name.

These historic breakthroughs occurred during your presidency, with implicit tactical manoeuvring on your part, such as the gerrymandering you championed. That is something nobody can take away from you.

So, there is no need to keep touting your ballroom, your formidable Olympius-size arch or the Trump-Kennedy Center.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, American voters carved your name into the marble of history. And for once, Mr President, you did not have to pay for the gold plating.

Now that you have made history, which is far more important than having spineless Republicans in charge of Congress, can we get the $5,000 you promised us?
