SAHCO expands aviation support with Gateway airport role

Skyway Aviation Handling Company has reaffirmed its commitment to Nigeria’s aviation growth through sustained investment in modern equipment, skilled personnel and innovative service solutions.
SAHCO’s chairman, Taiwo Afolabi, said this in a statement on Monday.
Mr Afolabi expressed delight after SAHCO was named the sole ground handling provider at the newly commissioned Gateway International Airport, Iperu, Ogun.
He said the partnership reflected confidence in SAHCO’s capabilities and its consistent record of delivering efficient and reliable aviation services nationwide.
“This milestone reinforces SAHCO’s commitment to supporting aviation growth through continuous investment in modern equipment, skilled personnel and innovative service solutions.
“Being selected as sole ground handler highlights our readiness to deliver seamless operations at new and existing airports nationwide,” Mr Afolabi said.
He noted that a partnership with Allied Air would enhance cargo operations, ensuring efficient processing of time-sensitive and high-value goods.
Mr Afolabi said the modern warehouse complex would support both import and export operations, improving turnaround time and service delivery.
He added that the development would boost capacity across agriculture, manufacturing and e-commerce sectors.
President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the Gateway International Airport on April 4.
