Sallah: NSCDC deploys 1,820 officials in Plateau

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Plateau State Command says it deployed 1,820 officers across the state ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
This is contained in a statement by the State Commandant, Ishaku Musa through the Corps Public Relations Officer (PRO), Nanko Rimvyok, in Jos on Tuesday.
Mr Musa said that the deployment was a step forward in beefing up security before, during, and after the Sallah period in the state.
“We are completely beefing up security across all the flashpoints and worship grounds across the 17 local government areas of the state,” he said.
He affirmed the corps’ commitment to the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure of the nation, as well as lives and properties.
“We will leave no stone unturned in dealing with all miscreants, criminals, and vandals who are planning to disrupt the relative peace the state is enjoying,” Mr Musa said.
He wished the Muslim ummah a fruitful and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
