Sanwo-Olu hails transformative projects in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has described the key projects unveiled in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area as transformative and commendable.
Mr Sanwo-Olu, represented by his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, praised the LCDA Chairman, Olusola Ajala, for his commitment to the All Progressives Congress mandate.
The projects inaugurated include the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Legacy Building and Jide Sanwo-Olu Football Arena.
Others are a 9.2km road and 13 vehicles distributed to stakeholders; all aimed at community uplift and development.
Mr Sanwo-Olu stated that Mr Ajala’s achievements over his eight-year tenure were both laudable and impactful.
He urged residents to take ownership of the facilities and use them responsibly for the greater good.
The governor also called on Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to build a better Nigeria.
He advised citizens to register for their Permanent Voter Cards and support the APC in upcoming elections.
He said, “We see the positive impact of the APC-led governments at local, state, and federal levels. Let us pray for the President’s continued success,” encouraging collective national support for Mr Tinubu’s leadership.
He noted that Africa’s development was highly anticipated globally, despite possible resistance from Western nations and internal opposition.
The deputy governor further cited APC’s success, including Mr Tinubu’s efforts to settle Nigeria’s N21 trillion ways and means loan.
He expressed pride in the party’s commitment to sustainable development and national progress.
Earlier, the LCDA chairman said the projects reflected his administration’s vision to transform the LCDA into a world-class municipality.
He explained the projects were designed to boost internally generated revenue and create a better work environment for council staff.
Mr Ajala noted that the infrastructure responded directly to the needs and expectations of the local population.
He said, “The commissioning of these projects reaffirms Lagos State’s dedication to development, good governance, and citizen wellbeing.’’
