Sanwo-Olu to inaugurate Tinubu-Hamzat campaign headquarters in Lagos
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will on Monday inaugurate the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters on Lagos Island.
PBAT-KOH is a political support group for President Bola Tinubu and Lagos 2027 governorship candidate Obafemi Hamzat.
Bolaji Yusuf, the administrator of the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters, told journalists on Sunday that the facility will serve as the nerve centre for political coordination, strategic engagement, grassroots mobilisation, and campaign activities.
Mr Yusuf noted that the venue would provide a focal point for bringing people together around shared political aspirations across the Lagos Central district.
“The venue will function as a central meeting point for party leaders, political stakeholders, community representatives, youth groups, and women supporters.
“Ultimately, its success will be measured not only by its appearance but also by how effectively it serves its purpose as a centre for engagement,” he said.
The administrator emphasised that the building’s transformation from a carcass stage to a completed structure demonstrates purposeful leadership and a determination to deliver results.
He noted that turning political vision into tangible reality requires deliberate action, consistency, and dedication to serve local communities effectively across the senatorial district.
“It speaks to the belief that every great achievement begins with a vision, but it takes purposeful action, consistency, and dedication,” Mr Yusuf added.
The administrator noted that as the first of its kind on Lagos Island, the edifice represented a bold investment in party administration and grassroots connectivity.
He added that strategies would be coordinated at the site to unify the aspirations of All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful working toward common political goals.
According to him, senior political figures expected at the commissioning include Lagos State Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and the deputy governorship candidate, Damilola Sonayon James, among others.
All APC candidates contesting in the district, along with key party officials, stewards, and campaign members, will attend the landmark senatorial headquarters opening ceremony.
The Monday commissioning formally opens the campaign base as preparations intensify across the Lagos Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
