Second teenager charged over murder of 14-year-old Nigerian Eghosa Ogbebor in UK

Another teenager has been charged in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Nigerian, Eghosa Ogbebor, in Woolwich, United Kingdom.
The teenager becomes the second person charged over the murder of late Ogbebor, who was killed in a shooting in Woolwich in April, the Metropolitan Police announced in a statement on Thursday.
“A 15-year-old – who cannot be named for legal reasons – was arrested on Wednesday, 6 May, and subsequently charged with murder. He will appear before Barkingside Youth Court on Thursday, May 7,” the statement said.
Before now, a 16-year-old boy from Romford was also charged with murder on Friday, 10 April. He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 11 April, where he was remanded in custody.
Police had launched an investigation into the shooting that killed Mr Ogbebor on Thursday, April 2.
Following the shooting, Mr Ogbebor died from serious gunshot injuries at the scene moments after police arrived at Lord Warwick Street.
