Nigerian Senate on Monday went on recess to reconvene on September 26th.
Before going on recess, the Senate President announced the chairman and vice chairman of all Senate committees.
This comes shortly after the Senate confirmed 45 of the 48 ministerial nominees, leaving out three, former Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufia, Stella Okotete of Delta State, and Abubakar Danladi of Taraba State.
The trio of Mr El-Rufai, Mrs Okotete and Mr Danladi were not confirmed on Monday as they are yet to complete security clearance.
