Senior lawyer congratulates new Niger APC executives

A legal luminary in Niger State, Mohammed Ndarani (SAN), has congratulated the newly affirmed Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The affirmation followed the successful conduct of the party’s emergency stakeholders’ consensus process, which produced the new leadership.
Mr Ndarani, in a statement on Wednesday in Minna, described the development as a reflection of unity, political maturity and shared commitment among party leaders and stakeholders in Niger.
He noted that the consensus arrangement demonstrated that the leadership and members of the APC in the state had resolved to place collective interest above individual ambitions.
According to him, the rancour-free affirmation signals renewed cohesion and readiness to reposition the party for greater responsibilities.
“The rancour-free affirmation of the state executive committee is a testament to the wisdom of our elders and the spirit of cooperation among stakeholders.
“It shows that the APC in Niger State remains focused, united and forward-looking,” he said.
Mr Ndarani, however, urged the new executives to justify the confidence reposed in them by providing inclusive, transparent and result-oriented leadership.
He urged them to strengthen party structures across the 25 local government areas and deepen engagement with youths, women and grassroots supporters.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria also emphasised the need for reconciliation and internal harmony, noting that sustained unity would be critical to the party’s continued growth and electoral success.
He reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the party and pledged support to the new leadership in advancing the ideals of progressivism and good governance in the state.
Mr Ndarani also commended Governor Umaru Bago for what he described as his visionary and transformational leadership.
He noted that the governor’s focus on agricultural revolution, infrastructural renewal and youth empowerment had repositioned Niger State as a strategic hub for food security and sustainable development.
According to him, Mr Bago’s commitment to large-scale mechanised farming and rural development has boosted economic activities and inspired confidence among party members and residents.
He added that the governor’s performance had strengthened the APC’s standing and credibility at the grassroots.
Mr Ndarani prayed for wisdom, courage and guidance for the new party leaders as they assume office.
