Shettima arrives in Katsina to inaugurate national MSMEs clinic

Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on Monday, arrived in Katsina State to inaugurate the National Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Clinic.
The vice-president’s aircraft touched down at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport around 5 p.m.
The event is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, financial institutions and regulatory agencies to boost small and medium-scale businesses across the state.
Mr Shettima will also attend the First Katsina MSMEs Awards dinner and Dikko Social Innovation Academy Graduation ceremony with the theme “Celebrating Innovation and Enterprise for a prosperous Katsina State.”
On the entourage of the vice-president were the minister of arts, culture and creative economy, Hannatu Musawa; Muntari Dandutse, representing Funtua Zone and Abdullahi Aliyu, representing Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency.
He was received by Gov. Dikko Radda of Katsina, his deputy, Faruk Lawal, Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Daura; chief of staff to the governor, Abdulkadir Mamman-Nasir; and the minister of housing and urban development, Ahmed Dangiwa.
Also at the airport to welcome the vice-president were representatives of the Daura Emirate and representatives of the Emir of Katsina, the Kauran Katsina, alongside members of the Katsina State Executive Council and other distinguished personalities.
During his visit, Mr Shettima is expected to launch the Katsina Sustainable Platform for Agriculture (KASPA), a digital platform designed to connect farmers with experts, markets and suppliers.
