Shettima arrives London to receive Buhari’s remains
Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on Monday, arrived in London on the directive of President Bola Tinubu, following the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr Shettima was accompanied by the chief of staff to the president, Femi Gbajabiamila.
Upon arrival, the vice-president was received by the foreign affairs minister, Yusuf Tuggar, and the Governor Babagana Zulum.
Mr Shettima will accompany the remains of Mr Buhari to Nigeria for burial in Daura, Katsina.
The former president died in London on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
