Shiba Inu founder deletes all social media information
Ryoshi, the founder of the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency, has deleted all his tweets and personal blog posts.
“I am not important, and one day I will be gone without notice. Take the SHIBA and journey upwards frens,” Ryoshi wrote.
On Monday, the SHIB creator deleted all his posts, including the first-ever blog introducing the cryptocurrency titled “All Hail the Shiba.”
His Twitter account @RyoshiResearch has no tweets and his Medium page has had no activity since 20 hours ago.
The price of the SHIB token has not been affected by Ryoshi’s actions. It is currently trading at six per cent, according to data provided by CoinMarketCap.
“Ryoshi was, and is, one of the most successful anonymous founders of any project, ever. Though I don’t know his identity, his legacy lives on in the Shib token, Shib Ecosystem, and all the projects we foresee to decentralize the world,” said ShibaSwap founder Shytoshi Kusama in a blog post.
Shiba Inu is currently valued at $6.4 billion, which makes it the 16th biggest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation.
The token is down 86.40 per cent from the record high recorded late October.
Ryoshi launched Shiba Inu in August 2020, and then gifted half of its supply to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
