Shooting Stars daze Liberty United FC 2-0, set for Oyo Federation Cup semi-finals

Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan on Tuesday advanced to the semi-final stage of the Oyo State version of the 2024 Federation Cup competition.
The Oluyole Warriors attained the feat after a 2-0 defeat of Liberty United FC of Ibadan in the quarter-finals.
Kayode Oke scored twice in the first half to put them into the last four stage in the match played at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex in Ibadan.
He headed in at the far side with a left flank corner-kick in the 16th minute.
Oke went on to latch on to a pass on the right edge of the penalty area in the 40th minute to knock past the goalkeeper for his brace.
3SC will now take on Adeyemi FC in the semi-finals.
