Six persons sustained varying degrees of injury on Sunday when a Volkswagen commercial bus collided with a Toyota Camry car on the Lagos-Badagry expressway.
William Manga, the unit commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Badagry Command, confirmed the incident in an interview with journalists in Badagry.
The accident occurred at 1.37 p.m. near Torikoh bus stop axis of the expressway.
“Our personnel were alerted about the accident immediately, and we got to the scene at 1.42 p.m.
“The Volkswagen commercial bus, with registration number KTU 101 YU, and a Toyota Camry car, with registration number LSD 334 FL, coming from Badagry, were involved in a head-on collision.
“Ten persons were involved in the accident,” he said.
The commander stated that the accident was due to wrongful overtaking and overspeeding.
