Soludo appoints Omenugha acting VC of Ojukwu varsity

Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra has appointed Prof. Kate Omenugha as the acting vice chancellor of the state-owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
Christian Aburime, press secretary to Mr Soludo, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Mr Omenugha is a professor of mass communication at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and the immediate past commissioner for education in Anambra.
According to Ms Aburime, Mr Soludo has approved the appointment of Prof. Omenugha as acting vice-chancellor, replacing Prof. Greg Nwakoby, whose tenure has expired.
He also approved Prof. Louis Orakwue a project coordinator, Anambra State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP).
He said their appointments were with immediate effect.
