SSG: Governor Buni appoints new SSG
Governor Mai Mala Buni has appointed Mohammed Goje as the acting secretary to the state government.
This was announced in a statement by Mr Buni’s spokesman, Mamman Mohammed, in Damaturu on Wednesday.
Mr Goje was the former executive secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency before his appointment as the SSG.
The statement said the Yobe governor charged the new appointee to rededicate his efforts in the service of the state and the betterment of its people.
Mr Goje replaced Baba Wali, the former SSG, who is now a governorship aspirant on the All Progressives Congress.
