Nigerian disc jockey and record producer Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, aka DJ Kaywise, has blasted his relatives and assured his girlfriend of his love amid reports of contemplated suicide.

“For those of you who are genuinely concerned about me, you are the reason why I am making this video,” he said.

DJ Kaywise recounted how a certain blog reported that he was suicidal, adding that he also slapped his mother.

“In January this year, some malicious blog tagged me suicidal, bewitched, kidnapped and also went as far as saying that I slapped my mother. Some crazy stuff which I found slanderous,” said the disc jockey.

DJ Kaywise added, “The same blog also claimed that my twin brother was doing damage control so I decided to chill because no matter how hard I tried to defend myself back then, there wouldn’t be 100% clarity until the person they accused me of slapping [his mom] speaks up.”

He claimed that his relatives did not come out to clear the air or defend him amid the reports and allegations.

DJ Kaywise further stated that it was not until his girlfriend, Nenny B’s case, where she alleged a kidnap attempt and threat to her life by her boyfriend’s former employees, including his twin brother, that the police waded into the matter.

DJ Kaywise claimed that his family asked him to cut ties rather than reprimand his brother for associating with his former employees. He said he had evidence that could potentially implicate his family members and clear his name.

“Fast forward to 2023, you can still see that my family are associating themselves with people I fired three years ago,” he said.

The DJ further claimed that his family accused Nenny B of bewitching him, which could be the reason for their irrational behaviour towards them.

“That is my queen right there no matter wetin una de talk,” he insisted.

The disc jockey shared a cryptic post on Wednesday via his Instagram account, which suggested suicide, saying, “I will end it tonight by 9 pm. I did my best.”
