Surrender or face full force, Tinubu issues ultimate warning to bandits, terrorists, sponsors
President Bola Tinubu has issued a stern warning to marauding bandits, terrorists, and their sponsors to desist from their criminal activities or face the full force of the Nigerian government.
“To bandits, kidnappers, and sponsors of terror: Surrender or face the full force of the Nigerian state,” Mr Tinubu stated in his June 12 Democracy Day address on Friday.
The president vowed to defeat killers and kidnappers who have continued to trade in the blood of innocent Nigerians.
He added, “These windows of surrender will not remain open forever. No mercy will be shown to those who trade in the blood of Nigerians.”
Mr Tinubu’s stern warning came amid widespread killings and kidnappings across the country.
Recall that bandits invaded a secondary school in the Aharha-Bunu area of Kabba-Bunu local council of Kogi and killed the school vice-principal, Gani Anifowose.
The 39 schoolchildren and teachers abducted in the Oriire local council of Oyo state are still held hostage by terrorists.
