Recently exposed in the Netflix documentary ‘Tinder Swindler’, popular Tinder scammer Simon Leviev has now been permanently banned from the dating application.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, Tinder recently confirmed in a statement that after conducting a thorough investigation, the embattled scammer is no longer active on their site.

“We have conducted internal investigations and can confirm Simon Leviev is no longer active on Tinder under any of his known aliases,” Tinder statement said.

On February 2, Netflix released a “true life story” documentary exposing a Tinder con artist who had successfully swindled his female victims of millions of dollars under the pretence of love.

Shortly after the documentary was released, Simon took to his Instagram, saying he “will share his side of the story in the next few days when he has sorted out the best and most respectful way to, both to the involved parties and himself.”

He then deleted his social media accounts.

In December 2019, Simon was convicted of fraud, theft, and forgery and sentenced to 15 months in prison but only served five months jail time because he was released for “good behaviour.”

After establishing a trustworthy long-distance relationship with his victims, Simon was accused of staging a physical attack, claiming his life was in danger, demanding “heavy” financial support he was supposed to reimburse afterwards.

According to his victims, they are still paying for loans they obtained years ago to assist Simon.
