The president of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, vigilance and active participation in nation-building.
CISLAC urged lawmakers to remain committed to plenary sessions, committee engagements, and oversight responsibilities.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has formally unveiled Nigeria’s Counter-Terrorism Strategic Plan 2025-2030.
The group pointed out the long-standing issues with government-owned refineries, which have been inactive for over two decades.
The Labour Party deputy chairman said Nigeria will still struggle to survive unless the National Assembly reforms the electoral system and delivers restructuring.
“No Nigerian worker will again be allowed to work under inhuman conditions.’’
Mr Egbetokun said the police were collaborating with other security organisations to address the challenges.
“The road might appear rough, but I am happy; we are making significant progress.”
APC chairman in the state, Tukur El-Suldi, expressed satisfaction with the turnout.
“We expect our officers to be the epitome of service, selflessness and sacrifice,” he added.
