A total of 21 teams, 10 female and 11 male, participated in the league which ran from October 23 to November 3.
“We will look forward to the last match which we must win to lift up the trophy,” the coach said.
The team recorded only their third win at the ongoing 2021 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
“I’m known to be a football player and a coach. But on hearing that a Bayelsa team is playing and we are not many in the state, I came to encourage the team.”
