Ms Ohanenye said many women awaiting trial over minor offences have been abandoned in correctional facilities for years with no hope of getting justice.
She commended Mr Namadi’s administration for paying special attention to education and advancement of women.
Mrs Manuga said women need to identify those vying for positions in their constituencies and support them.
