The Chief Magistrate, Musa Jobbo, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N500,000 with one surety in like sum.
The police said the duo committed the offence alongside three other suspects who fled the scene with their operational vehicle.
The magistrate, Shawomi Bokkos, summarily tried and sentenced the convict, who pleaded guilty to the charge.
Until his appointment, Umar was with Akwa United between 2016 and 2024, serving in different capacities throughout his tenure.
