Mr Olarewaju noted that official information from the university’s management would be duly communicated through recognised and verified communication channels.
Mr Habeeb said, “The boycott started yesterday and it is in full effect.”
Mr Olanrewaju stated that the student, whose father is a medical doctor, reportedly injected himself at his parents’ home in Ejigbo, Osun.
The Obafemi Awolowo University has asked the public to assist security agencies with details on the whereabouts of a 300-level Chemistry student, Dorcas Oseghale.
Mr Olanrewaju said that “the lady did not have any affiliation with the prestigious university.”
The resumption was shifted due to governorship and the state assembly elections that the INEC postponed from March 11 to 18.

The deceased was a 400 level 24-year-old student of the department of foreign languages.
