The declaration was announced in a statement on Monday by Sambo Junaidu, chairman of the Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs of the Sultanate Council.
Mr Bawa said investigations remained active over the discovery of suspicious objects near Jabo town in the Tambuwal Local Government Area.
He also announced that the state government had allocated N500 million monthly to address the backlog of unpaid gratuities.
He thanked the state lawmakers for the speedy passage of bills.
The minister reassured the governor of the military’s support to make Sokoto safe.
Any local government chairman found flouting these directives would be dealt with severely,” Governor Ahmed Aliyu warned.
Mr Aliyu decried that the local government officials diverted the funds provided as stipends to the state workers during the Sallah holidays.
The governor also expressed concerns about frequent bandit attacks in the state.
