The country has experienced multiple national power grid collapses since President Bola Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023.
The commission said the respective fines “represent 10 per cent of the overbilled amount.”
“I am giving the AMAC and Bwari constituency the opportunity to come up with their complaints.”
The judge ordered the respondents to stop taking any further steps pending the determination of the motion in the matter.
According to him, the fact that the contractors are still being owed has not deterred them from meeting their contractual agreement.
AEDC said its technical team is working tirelessly to rectify the fault and restore the power supply quickly and regrets any inconvenience.
He said that government should try and reduce the tariff so that it can benefit the rich and the poor people.
