The FCCPC said that Meta had also shared the users’ data without consent and abused its market dominance.
The FCCPC boss said intelligence and surveillance reports obtained indicated that certain companies were involved in anti-competitive behaviour.
Sealing off the supermarket, the acting executive vice chairman of FCCPC, Adamu Abdullahi, described the situation as unacceptable.
Mr Abdullahi said the operatives of FCCPC would work with trade associations, farmer groups, and other stakeholders to combat price-fixing and dismantle cartels.
Mr Abdullahi said the astronomical increase in the price of sachet water by various associations is unfair to the consumers.
The FCCPC boss said the proliferation of AI presented both opportunities and challenges for consumer protection.
The judge said the sentence on criminal conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms would take effect from 2019 when they were arrested and detained.
“The shambolic primaries conducted in Edo state and its aftermath…should be a lesson to the leadership of the party,” it stated.
”The FCCPA protects consumer rights and prohibits deceptive business practices.”
Mr Ali-Biu said the renewed commitment was to enhance the safety and rights of passengers across the country.
