The judge said the sentence on criminal conspiracy and illegal possession of firearms would take effect from 2019 when they were arrested and detained.
“The shambolic primaries conducted in Edo state and its aftermath…should be a lesson to the leadership of the party,” it stated.
”The FCCPA protects consumer rights and prohibits deceptive business practices.”
Mr Ali-Biu said the renewed commitment was to enhance the safety and rights of passengers across the country.
He said the FCCPC’s surveillance efforts suggested that distributors and retailers engaged in conspiracy, price gouging and hoarding.
Mr Abdullahi said the commission would not tolerate the exploitation of consumers by DMLs in loan default enforcement or recovery processes.
Mr Abdullahi, however, said properties worth about N3 million were lost to 133 fire incidents during the period under review.

He added that the suspect also revealed to the detectives that he handed the child over to his wife, who took him to Katsina state.
