The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has received bulletproof vests and helmets from the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
Mr Keshinro said that the command recorded milestones through its recent successful operations.
NSCDC has announced plans to strengthen grassroots engagement in protecting critical national assets and infrastructure in Lagos by the first quarter of 2026.
Mr Keshinro felicitated Muslims and urged peace, love, and unity among Lagos residents, which was in line with the teachings of the Quran.
“The criminal elements should not be allowed to take advantage of the good people of the state anymore,” he said.
Mr Keshinro stated, “None of us is as good as all of us put together.”
He, however, assured Lagos residents of police presence.
“This is to make the celebration a smooth and peaceful one for all,” Mr Keshinro said.
