The command’s spokesperson, CSP Umma Ayuba, confirmed this in a statement on Wednesday.
“On May 8, three suspects, ages 25, 28 and 30, were apprehended at Sabo Hausa Market, Eleweran, Abeokuta, while planning a robbery operation,” said the police.
The police boss enjoined youths in both states to be law -abiding, maintain peace and order during the celebrations.
The spokesperson for Zone Police Command said that investigation was ongoing and the suspect would be prosecuted upon completion of investigation.
“The intelligence revealed that the syndicate specialises in buying and selling newborn babies, toddlers, as well as children of various ages,” said the police.
The boy told his parents that the suspect allegedly lured him and four other students to his hotel and sodomised them.
“The checkpoints namely Seme Point, Gbaji Point, Apa Point and Agbara Point,” the zonal police PRO said.
