CSP Ngozi Braide had led her team from the command to arrest a suspected internet fraudster, Patrick Akpoguma, in Lagos, who offered a large sum of money to avoid arrest.
Mr Durosinmi called on the federal government to invest in the force and the welfare of its officers.
Mr Fayoade said that the checkpoint reduction wouldn’t affect security in the area.
The daughter was found dead in Lagos on Wednesday.
Mr Hundeyin said operatives of the command also arrested 27 civilians for allegedly assaulting police officers on lawful duty.
The CP advised road users to always obey and respect traffic officers, saying they were working for the good interest of all in Lagos State.
He said that the command assured of residents of adequate security during and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Police commissioner Adegoke Fayoade says it is time to take urgent measures to halt cultism and drug abuse in society.
The CP also disclosed that the police apprehended 28 suspected kidnappers and recorded 50 murder cases, with 67 suspects arrested.
Mr Hundeyin said the suspected criminals were arrested around 11.15 a.m. daily.
