Mr Sanwo-Olu said that more youths and other citizens need to know more about programmes and initiatives being undertaken by governments.
Mr Ajayi stressed that the union would no longer tolerate violence against journalists.
He said studies had shown that journalists could suffer from precarious trauma, which could lead to other mental health conditions if not identified and treated early.
