Mr Adeleke said, “I urge the public and stakeholders to ignore fake news as I did not attack President Tinubu in any way before and during ongoing local government election.’’
Mr Adeleke expressed confidence that PDP candidates would emerge victorious in the election.
Mr Adejobi urged stakeholders, including political parties, to act with restraint and prioritise the well-being of citizens.
He said the restriction was to prevent hoodlums from disrupting the exercise, adding that Mr Adeleke has also directed security agencies to enforce the order.
