A truck has killed an Okada (commercial motorcycle) rider on Igbo Ukwu-Uga road in Aguata local government area of Anambra.
The FRSC said, “due to the bad road along that area, the truck was not stable and the container fell on the bus and crashed it.”
One of the trucks was on top speed when it lost control and rammed into the other two vehicles.
According to the sector commander, 108 motorists were apprehended for driver’s licence violations.
According to the spokesman, about 300 regular and special marshals have been deployed for special patrol to ensure free movement.
The sector commander said that many of the fatal crashes happened at night.
