Mr Abiru made the call in a goodwill message on Wednesday in Lagos to commemorate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
A senator, Adamu Aliero (APC-Kebbi), presented the report on behalf of the committee’s chairman, Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto).
According to him, young people must recognise the power of their civic participation ahead of 2027 elections.
Mr Ibrahim said that he was confident that the country would benefit greatly when the law was eventually signed into law.
“Sen. Ubah’s legacy would continue to inspire future generations. May his soul rest in peace,” Mr Abiru said.
He urged the organisers to engage the government and present their specific demands.
