According to the NNPC, pipeline theft has increased since 2024, with criminal groups allegedly disguising themselves as government task forces to steal pipeline infrastructure.
The CP pledged the committment of the command to proactive policing and ensuring the safety and security of FCT residents.
The widow sued the inspector general of police, Tunji Disu, and the FCT police commissioner, Ahmed Sanusi, for illegal detention.
