The governor urged the new board members to bring their wealth of experience to bear on improving football administration in the state.
“I bear no grudge against anybody. Nobody has offended me. All you did during the primary was to demonstrate your democratic freedom,” said Mr Aiyedatiwa.
They said Mr Aiyedatiwa has performed credibly well in terms of governance to earn the trust and support of the people.
The aspirants explained that their support for Mr Aiyedatiwa was in the interest of peace.
“We need to bridge the gap between the youth and the government to ensure effective governance and development.”
Ondo Youths have urged APC and PDP to choose under-45 running mates for their gubernatorial candidates Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Agboola Ajayi.
Mr Aiyedatiwa emphasised that their support is crucial and should be translated into votes at the APC primary to ensure his victory.
“You must guard your loins and hit the ground running in your various offices.”
Reacting to the allegations, Mr Aiyedatiwa accused Mr Akinterinwa of scheming to seize power through any means.
“Let everybody calm down, for the next four years, they should let Mr Aiyedatiwa continue,” he said.
