Despite the criticism, Mr Tinubu has attributed the country’s economic woes to the legacies of his predecessors, suggesting that he inherited a nation in disarray.
As the chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, Mr Tinubu will address the meeting on the status of regional integration.
“The new appointee will take over from the incumbent, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, who is due to retire on Aug. 13.”
