The traditional ruler was murdered at his palace on Feb. 27.
Mr Jalige stated that the arrest was made on Tuesday and that one AK47 rifle and 600 rounds of 7.62 X 39mm live ammunition were recovered.
The police said one of the bandits was shot dead on the spot, another with bullet wounds died later, and four others escaped.
The fiery preacher stated that “we can’t continue to do the same thing again and again and expect a different result.”
The incident came three months after a police orderly of Abike Dabiri-Erewa fatally shot a teenager without provocation in a beer parlour in Apo-Dutse.
